System Administrator – Oakton, Virginia. Clearances : Top Secret Clearance. SecuriGence (a Chenega subsidiary) provides mission-critical services in Cybersecurity, Systems Engineering and Integration, IT Operations Support, Software Development, and Program Management. We deliver essential technology services to support national security and economic interests.
Responsibilities
- Images, Builds, Deploys Workstations and Servers.
- Maintains the integrity and security of servers and systems.
- Analyzing requirements for deployment of new desktop applications, creating deployment plans and automation processes for new applications.
- Sets up administrator and service accounts.
- Maintains system documentation.
- Interacts with users and evaluates vendor products.
- Oversees implementation of testing strategies and documentation of results.
- Provides advice and training to end-users and help desk personnel.
- Maintains current knowledge of relevant technologies as assigned.
- Participates in special projects as required.
- Proactively identify issues and resolve and make suggestions for improvements to the environment.
- Troubleshoot issues to resolution with customer-impacting issues given priority and worked on until completion.
- Travel across continental U.S. to customer sites potentially 10% of time.
Skills and Experience
Demonstrate directly related experience in Tier II and Tier III support.4+ years\' experience with installing, configuring, and supporting Windows-based applications on Windows 7, 8, and 10 desktop systems, both virtual and physical.Extensive knowledge of server and PC hardware and software maintenance.Hands-on experience managing Windows Active Directory Services.Self-starter and ability to work tasks with little supervision or assistance.Demonstrated experience with SCCM and preferred experience with Group Policy Management (creation of policies, troubleshooting and maintaining).Desktop image creation and validation using System Center Configuration Manager.Maintaining updated drive packs for various hardware vendors including Dell and HP.Hands-on experience supporting additional Microsoft products (Office, Project, etc.).Demonstrated knowledge and experience in utilizing Remedy.Familiar with antivirus and security software (HBSS) and troubleshooting services affected by these software applications.Proficient with TCP / IP networking, including basic understanding of switches, routers, taclanes, etc., and infrastructure.Demonstrated experience with applying STIGs to systems, applications and components and troubleshooting STIG-related issues.Demonstrates experience administrating Hyper-V and clustered services.Must be able to travel 10% of the time (CONUS).Qualifications
Bachelor\'s in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field with 4 years of relevant experience, or Master\'s with 3 years of relevant experience.Minimum of an IAT Level II (DoD 8570.1M) certification : e.g., GSEC; Security+ CE; CCNA-Security; CySA+; CND; SSCP; GICSP.Requires active TS / SCI clearance.Matthew J.
