Job Title : Manufacturing Engineering Technician (Entry Level)

Department : Engineering

Position Type : Hourly, Entry-Level

Reports To : Engineering Coordinator

Position Summary : The Entry-Level Manufacturing Engineering Technician supports the engineering team by accurately entering product IDs and Bills of Materials (BOMs) into our ERP system. This individual also creates labor routings with estimated production times and collaborates closely with the Quality Department to identify necessary quality control (QC) checks.

Primary Responsibilities :

Accurately enter and maintain product IDs and Bill of Materials within the ERP system.

Create detailed labor routing plans with accurately estimated production times.

Coordinate closely with the Quality Department to define required QC checks for products and processes.

Provide ongoing support to the engineering and production teams, assisting with process documentation and improvement projects.

Ensure data integrity and accuracy within the ERP system. Assure consistency between the ERP and PDM systems.

Assure consistency between the ERP and PDM systems.

Assist in ensuring accurate on hand inventory against requirements.

Qualifications

Preferred Qualifications :

Associate degree in engineering, manufacturing technology, or related field, or currently pursuing an associate degree.

Basic understanding of ERP systems (prior experience is a plus but not required).

Strong attention to detail and accuracy.

Effective communication and collaboration skills.

Ability to learn quickly and adapt in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Work Environment :

Primarily office-based with occasional exposure to manufacturing floor conditions.

Standard work hours with occasional flexibility required based on project needs.
