Urology Physician

Sumo Medical Staffing is recruiting for an experienced Urologist to work locum shifts in Las Cruces, New Mexico (NM). Starting as soon as credentialed the role offers ongoing work with a competitive market rate and benefits.

The Urology role :

Urology locum role - looking for someone who is interested in both clinic and call coverage (not at the same time).

New clinic opened in November 2024.

Number of phone consults : 5-10 per day.

Support staff available : Local urologists available via phone, nursing staff, urology tech, and hospitalists.

Age of patients : Adults - very few pediatric patients.

Inpatient / Outpatient : Both.

Rounding : Active consults.

Average number of admissions per shift : None - admissions managed by hospitalists.

Possible open dates :

Sept 14 : Call

Sept 25 - am of 29 : Call

Sept 29 - Oct 3rd : Clinic

Sept 29 - am of Oct 6 : Call

Nov 3 - am of the 7th : Call

Nov 30 - am of Dec 8 : Call

Dec 22 - am of 27th : Call

Requirements of the Urology role :

NM state license; active, unrestricted

Board certified Urologist

NM State DEA

BLS, ACLS

100 procedures in the past 24 months

25 clinic cases in the last 12 months
