Laborer

The Town of Waterford Wastewater Treatment Facility is now accepting applications for a full time laborer. Applicants must be at least 18 years of age. Preferred applicants will have two (2) or more years experience at a Wastewater Treatment Plant. Have a valid CDL- Class B preferred. Must be able to pass random drug and alcohol screenings. Be able to lift over 50 lbs. Have basic knowledge of hand tools. Have the understanding of the safe use of ladders. Have the ability to read gauges and record data. Must be available to work a weekend schedule and possible nights. Must be able to be 24 / 7 on-call and carry and operate the on-call emergency I-Phone at least one full week a month. Must reside within a reasonable distance to the Treatment plant. Be able to work alone and in a team orientated environment with prior or during the project changing instructions. Must be able to work in the elements, both hot and cold, for possible extended periods of time both day and night.
