Job Overview

The Hubbell Internship Program is a 10 to 12-week program providing students the opportunity to gain corporate experience, learn about all aspects of our business, and prepare students with the kind of experience needed to have a rewarding career at Hubbell.

We are seeking a dedicated, innovative, and strategic thinker to become part of our Communications team, within our Talent, Inclusion, and Corporate Communications division. You will play a role in creating communications to support enterprise-wide initiatives in partnership with Hubbell's HR function.

This individual can expect to learn how to create engaging content and improve their written and verbal communications. They will also receive firsthand experience with strategic planning initiatives, team collaboration, networking, researching, and time management in a business setting.

This opportunity will empower an individual to learn and grow in their understanding of what they want professionally in the future and provide comprehensive development opportunities that enable them to embrace diverse perspectives and ideas.

A Day In The Life

• Utilize planning and organizational skills to support communications team projects.
• Opportunity to review current communications program activities to make recommendations for changes and improvements.
• Work on comprehensive, value-added projects.
• Provide opportunities for professional development by building relationships and learning about other parts of the business.
• Create a presentation to the local management teamat the end of the program.
• Gain knowledge of the industry as it pertains to the Hubbell business location.
• Work on challenging robust projects that will provide practical experience.
• Manage multiple projects with overlapping tasks and working independently with minimal supervision.
