Scott Electric Company has a current opening at our Duncansville, PAbranch for aFull-Time -Wire Associate ( Mon-Thurs. 2 : 30 pm -10 : 30 pm + OT, Fri. 1 : 00 pm-9 : 00 pm + OT).

Responsibilities :

  • Interpret customer orders and select appropriate wire and required quantity accurately
  • Cut, trim, and spool the required length of wire for distribution
  • Packaged, labeled, and ship all wire products to specified locations
  • Checked wire products to verify conformance to customer specifications
  • Operate all appropriate machines and perform preventive maintenance of the equipment
  • Receive, stock, and maintain warehouse materials and inventory of supplies

Requirements :

  • Regularly lift 75 lbs
  • Must be able to measure and run a wire cutting machine
  • Prior experience in inventory control, forklift operation, and general warehousing is beneficial
  • Electrical experience preferred
  • Must have good communication skills
  • Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment
