The American Society of Clinical Oncology (ASCO) is seeking a Division Director of Clinical Research and Analytics, to lead and expand our clinical research portfolio.
This pivotal role sits at the intersection of science, data, and innovation, leading the strategic development, coordination, and expansion of ASCO's entire clinical research portfolio. The Division Director of Clinical Research and Analytics will be responsible for translating strategy into operational excellence, driving complex, multi-stakeholder research programs that shape the future of cancer care globally.

Responsibilities
Oversee the development, implementation and management of clinical research projects .
Enhance and maintain the clinical trials infrastructure for ASCO clinical research.
Work with CENTRA and ASCO leadership to develop policies and procedures that promote and ensure high quality research projects across ASCO .
Represent ASCO and builds strategic relationships with members and partnerships with various external audiences and stakeholders .
Lead a diverse team, coach and mento r team members, evaluate performance, and suppor t professional development. Direct all people management activities for assigned teams.
Develop and maintain a diverse and equitable departmental work culture in alignment with ASCO's core pillars and encourages innovation throughout the organization .
Engage and collaborate with other ASCO department heads to promote best practices in clinical research .
Required Education and Experience
B achelors degree of Arts or Science from accredited college or university
12 + years experience in management and oversight within clinical trial teams
5+ years experience working in cancer clinical trial teams
Experience in regulatory requirements, budgeting and contracting for clinical trials
Familiarity with clinical trials electronic data capture platforms, such as Medidata, REDCap or Oracle
Preferred Education and Experience
Masters in field related to the science , methodology , management or conduct of clinical trials.
Co-author on peer-reviewed clinical research studies in reputable journals
Competencies
Ability to recruit and manage a large clinical research team
Excellent communication skills , including written , with ability to clearly convey and receive information
Ability to thrive in a matric working environment
Stron g leadership and managerial / supervisory skills with the ability to delegate, motivate and develop staff
Ability to hold team member s accountable , and provide incentives and encouragement
Strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
