Job Title : Mechanical Engineer Co-Op

Location : Hawthorne, NY (on-site)

Type : Co-Op (January 2026 – August 2026)

Compensation : $23.00 / hr - $32.00 / hr

Role Summary

The Mechanical Engineer Co-Op will play a key role in supporting the design, development, and testing of mechanical components for Clarapath's advanced electro-mechanical device, SectionStar. This role requires a strong foundation in mechanical engineering principles, CAD modeling, and hands-on prototyping, contributing to the refinement and optimization of system performance.

Responsibilities :

• Assist in the design, prototyping, and validation of mechanical components for SectionStar
• Develop and refine CAD models, mechanical drawings, and assembly documentation
• Conduct testing and analysis to evaluate mechanical performance and reliability
• Collaborate with electrical and software engineers to integrate mechanical systems
• Support manufacturing and assembly processes by providing technical guidance
• Document findings, design iterations, and test results to support product development
• Troubleshoot mechanical issues and recommend design improvements
