Job Description
Onsite 2 days a week in Plano, Portsmouth, or BostonRequired Experience :
8+ years of architecture experience in a multi-platform distributed environment at a leading insurance companyRequired Qualifications :
Strong thought leadership in pursuit of modern architecture principles and technology modernizationAbility to assess rapidly changing technologies and apply them to business needsExperience in messaging platforms, protocols, and techniques such as Kafka, and event sourcingExperience with event-based application architecture and designExperience developing applications in cloud-based platforms such as AWS, Azure and / or GCPExperience in a wide variety of data storage technologies, from RDBMS to NoSQL, Graph and object storageExperience with gathering end user requirements and writing technical documentation leveraging frameworks such as TOGAF and / or C4 ModelingExperience with leading Insurance SaaS platforms such as Guidewire is a bonusResponsibilities :
Partner with aligned platform architect and business stakeholders to evolve the service architecture towards our North StarHelp establish a clear, consistent technology vision through collaboration, influence, and enablementResearch, define and recommend the north star architecture for the service area; assist with its implementationDrive technology proof of concepts and benchmarks to ensure the feasibility of architecture platform solutionsSupport senior technical individual contributorsOnly those lawfully authorized to work in the designated country associated with the position will be considered.Please note that all Position start dates and duration are estimates and may be reduced or lengthened based upon a client’s business needs and requirements.Benefits :
