Compensation up to $20.00 hourly

Responsibilities

  • Position Description : This position attends the cattle sale at the Tulsa Stockyards each Monday in order to evaluate sale offerings and prices. A USDA Market Report must be reported after each sale. This position will work each Monday for the duration of the sale or for a pre-negotiated period of time.
  • Typical Functions : Report market sales of cattle; evaluate sales offerings and prices then complete the USDA Market Report in a timely manner.

Qualifications

  • Education and Experience : Required are a high school diploma and at least one year of previous education or experience in an agricultural field.
  • Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Knowledge of livestock auctions and cattle grading required. Ability to work outside amongst various types of animals required.
  • Physical Demands and Work Environment

  • This position may require working outdoors in an animal auction setting; walking short distances, sitting for long periods of time and climbing stairs.
