Responsibilities

Position Description : This position attends the cattle sale at the Tulsa Stockyards each Monday in order to evaluate sale offerings and prices. A USDA Market Report must be reported after each sale. This position will work each Monday for the duration of the sale or for a pre-negotiated period of time.
Typical Functions : Report market sales of cattle; evaluate sales offerings and prices then complete the USDA Market Report in a timely manner.

Qualifications

Education and Experience : Required are a high school diploma and at least one year of previous education or experience in an agricultural field.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : Knowledge of livestock auctions and cattle grading required. Ability to work outside amongst various types of animals required.

Physical Demands and Work Environment

This position may require working outdoors in an animal auction setting; walking short distances, sitting for long periods of time and climbing stairs.
