Job Description

CPV Manufacturing is an industrial valve manufacturer located in Kennett Square and we are looking for a Production Marking Associate to join our growing team. This position is primarily responsible for marking production material and assisting with other material handling and packaging functions as needed. Our company size of 50 people provides an opportunity for everyone to make a big impact on our success, and this position is critical in our operation. We are proud of our products and even more proud of our team! Hours are Monday through Friday, 6 : 30am - 3 : 15pm.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

Setup, load and unload all production parts for Dot Peen and / or laser marking as required to achieve scheduled due dates while maintaining all quality and production standards
Review paperwork to ensure parts are marked to correct standards
Work closely with Inspection for quality review and adjust as needed
Read drawings to determine location of marking on part
Cross train in other areas, including packaging, assembly, and testing
Maintain safe and clean work environment by following standards and procedures, complies with quality regulations
Accomplish manufacturing and organization mission by completing other related tasks as requested

Qualifications :

2-3 years of related experience

High School Diploma or equivalent

Must be detail oriented and possess high regard for quality and workmanship

Excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Ability to work both independently and as a team member

Ability to prioritize assignments

Able to follow written and oral assignments

Ability to read blue prints

Basic computer skills

Physical Requirements and Working Conditions :

This position is primarily on the Assembly floor where it can be noisy at times

Must be able to wear proper PPE – safety toe shoes, hearing protection, and eye protection

Ability to move around the manufacturing floor as well as sit or stand for extended periods of time

Ability to lift up to 50 pounds
