$160,000.00 / yr - $180,000.00 / yr

As a Software Engineer on the Product Team at Qualified, you will tackle technically challenging and ambiguous problems by building exceptional products and enhancing our processes and technology. You will work on integrating LLMs, embeddings, and other AI technologies into our offerings, pushing what’s possible to deliver innovative features and exceptional user experiences. The product team emphasizes rapid experimentation and iteration, and you will own end-to-end delivery and success of features—from coding and testing to deployment, monitoring, and customer rollout—while maintaining high standards of engineering and code quality. You will also work closely with customers to gather immediate feedback to continuously improve products and ensure they meet user needs effectively.

Responsibilities

• Develop customer-focused applications by building new features, improving existing ones, and creating entirely new products.
• Utilize the latest advances in machine learning, LLMs and other AI technologies to enhance our products and deliver delightful user experiences.
• Collaborate with Product Managers, Product Designers, and Platform Engineers to ideate and develop mission-critical applications.
• Conduct rapid prototyping and iterative development to enhance AI solutions based on real-world performance and user feedback.
• Ensure our core functionality is stable, scalable, well-maintained, and continually improving.
• Grow technical skills to tackle challenges related to quality, performance, robustness, and reliability.
• Mentor other engineers and help set standards of engineering excellence.
• Support and scale highly-available, high-traffic services essential for customers’ time-sensitive, business-critical needs.
