Operating Room RN Job Details Job Title : Operating Room Registered Nurse (OR RN) – Travel Assignment Location : Aurora, Colorado (80012) – Denver Metro Area Assignment Type : Travel Nursing Start Date : October 20, 2025 End Date : January 19, 2026 Duration : 13-week contract Shift : 9AM – 9PM (12-hour day shifts) Hours per Week : 36 Estimated Weekly Salary : $1570–$1680 per week Facility : Main Hospital, First Floor, 11 Operating Rooms Registered Nurse Qualifications Active and unencumbered RN license (Colorado or compact state) Minimum 1 year of recent Operating Room (OR) nursing experience Experience as an OR Charge Nurse and Trauma Level II experience required Strong communication and clinical skills; ability to thrive in a fast-paced surgical environment Flexibility and adaptability to changing clinical situations Electronic Medical Records (EMR) experience; Meditech preferred Key Responsibilities for OR RN Deliver direct patient care during surgical procedures in a high-volume operating room Assist with a variety of surgeries : General OR, Neuro / Spine, Cardiovascular / Thoracic (CVT), Orthopedic, Gynecological (GYN), and Robotic procedures Collaborate with a multidisciplinary healthcare team, including charge nurses, surgical technologists, and specialized trauma, neuro, and cardiac teams Maintain patient safety and strictly adhere to hospital protocols and clinical guidelines Demonstrate professionalism, flexibility, and excellent communication with patients and staff Enjoy the benefits of working in a modern healthcare facility with cutting-edge equipment, experienced staff, and a welcoming team culture.
