Construction Laborer

Location : Cedar Rapids, Iowa

Schedule : Monday-Friday, 7 : 00 AM to 5 : 00 PM (Some Saturdays optional)

Hours : 40+ hours per week

Position Overview

We are seeking a reliable and hardworking Construction Laborer to support the erection and finishing of pre-engineered metal buildings, including large warehouse structures. This is a physically demanding, hands-on role ideal for individuals who enjoy working outdoors and being part of a fast-paced construction team.

Key Responsibilities

• Erect metal posts and studs to form building frameworks
• Attach sheet metal and insulation using power drills
• Assist with drywall installation for interior finishes
• Move materials and tools around the job site to support tradesmen
• Operate lifts and other equipment to aid construction tasks
• Perform heavy lifting (up to 100 lbs) and general labor duties
• Travel to job sites within 30 minutes of Cedar Rapids; team travel provided for distant locations
• Adapt to various tasks as needed to support project completion

Pay and Benefits

The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $26.00 / hr.
