Job Description

American Traveler is seeking an experienced RN for a rotating Emergency Department role requiring recent trauma experience and pediatric care credentials.

Responsibilities

  • Position in the Emergency Department of a hospital
  • Rotating day and night shifts, 36 hours per week
  • Serves both adult and pediatric patient populations
  • Level 1 trauma setting or equivalent
  • May provide care to ICU-level and pediatric patients
  • Provides comprehensive emergency nursing care to critically ill and injured patients
  • Functions as part of a multidisciplinary trauma team
  • First time travelers are not restricted from applying
  • Holiday and weekend coverage may be required based on the rotation schedule
  • Requirements

  • Active NH RN license or Compact RN license
  • Current BLS, ACLS, PALS, and TNCC certifications required
  • Recent experience (within the last 2 years) in a Level 1 or comparable Level 2 trauma center required
  • ICU and pediatric experience preferred
  • Applicants must reside at least 75 miles from the facility
