Medical Technologist (Allied)

MLS or MLT needed ASAP!

On call requirements : Most likely there will be no weekend coverage, but holiday coverage is required.

Call is required 1800-0700, Thursday, Friday, and Saturday nights and is rotated.

Certification : ASCP, AMT, or equivalent required

Must be Generalist and able to cover :

  • Chemistry, Hematology, Blood bank, Microbiology, Coagulation, Urinalysis, Routine testing, Quality control, Maintenance of instruments
  • Blood Bank Gel – required
  • Phlebotomy - required
  • Experience with Microbiology setups preferred but not required
  • Experience with Orchard LIS preferred but not required
  • Experience obtaining arterial punctures preferred but not required
