In addition, your focus will be on the development and implementation of projects designed to increase facility utilization, improve upon existing SLAs and provide a safe work environment for Deckers associates. ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS, INCLUDE, BUT NOT LIMITED TO : This position emphasizes optimizing facility performance, engaging in Lean and Six Sigma methodologies, and fostering a culture of continuous improvement. Key elements include : Facility Optimization : Improving metrics, systems, safety, and quality within the Distribution Center (DC).Collaboration : Partnering with Operations leadership to prioritize and drive improvements that benefit the customer experience.Continuous Improvement Leadership : Creating and leading projects with Lean and Six Sigma methodologies to address gaps and improve processes.Training and Facilitation : Leading Lean training sessions and rapid improvement events to spread knowledge across the organization.Process Analysis : In-depth analysis of complex production and processes to identify improvement opportunities.Team Leadership : Facilitating business teams and developing team members by recognizing strong performers and coaching others to improve.Green Initiatives : Supporting environmental sustainability efforts in line with corporate goals.Safety and Efficiency : Ensuring that operations run safely and efficiently, while fostering a culture of recognition and coaching.
