Location : Davie, FL

Salary : $80,000 - $110,000 + discretionary bonus

A well-established construction company with over 40 years in business is seeking an Accounting Manager to join its growing team. The company is experiencing significant growth and restructuring, creating an exciting opportunity for the Accounting Manager to step into a leadership role with long-term impact.

Responsibilities of the Accounting Manager :

  • Oversee accounts payable (AP) and accounts receivable (AR)
  • Manage the month-end close process and prepare financial statements
  • Handle job costing, budgeting, and forecasting
  • Supervise payroll and coordinate audits
  • Lead and mentor 2-3 direct reports (Accounting Clerk / Staff Accountant)
  • Report directly to the Controller

    • Requirements of the Accounting Manager :

  • Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
  • 3+ years of experience in the construction industry
  • Must be willing to "roll up sleeves" and handle transactional accounting tasks
  • Prior managerial or supervisory experience
  • Solid knowledge of GAAP principles
