Robotic Vehicle Driver-Tester Av Operator

Location : Grand Rapids, MN, United States

Job Type : Part-Time and Full-Time (Contract)

Compensation : $20.00 per hour

Sign-On Bonus : $500

Start Date : ASAP, contingent on clear background check, MVR, and drug screen

About the Role

As an AV Operator, you'll play a key role in delivering safe, comfortable, and efficient rides to customers while providing feedback that enhances the robotic vehicle (RV) experience.

Key Responsibilities

  • Operate robotic vehicles safely and professionally
  • Interact with riders and relay feedback to improve service
  • Perform safety checks and regular vehicle cleaning
  • Assist passengers in and out of vehicles, including those using wheelchairs
  • Follow established safety protocols and document daily activity
  • Maintain a professional, courteous demeanor
  • Support additional operations as needed

Schedule Options

Full-Time (5 days / week including weekends) : Morning Shift : 10 : 00 AM 5 : 00 PM Night Shift : 2 : 00 PM 9 : 00 PM

Part-Time (23 days / week including weekends) : Morning Shift : 10 : 00 AM 2 : 00 PM Night Shift : 5 : 00 PM 9 : 00 PM

Consistent weekly scheduling no on-call or rotating shifts.

Mandatory Training

  • One-week onsite training in Grand Rapids :
  • Full-Time : MondayFriday, 8 AM 3 PM
  • Part-Time : MondayFriday, 8 AM 1 PM

    • Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Valid driver's license
  • 3+ years of driving experience with a clean record
  • Ability to lift up to 30 lbs and assist with wheelchairs
  • Comfortable with robotic vehicle technology
  • Strong attention to detail and documentation skills
  • Organized, calm under pressure, and customer-focused
  • Technical experience (electronics, mechanics, or computer use) is a plus
  • Must pass background check, drug screening (including THC), and MVR
