Required Qualifications : Applicants must specifically address how they meet these required qualifications to meet the requirements of the position. :

• Knowledge of basic mechanical concepts, medium-voltage electrical systems, electrical test equipment, and standard safety practices
• Proficiency with computers, software, smartphones, and tablets for records, reports, and communication.
• Skilled in analyzing reports / tests and overseeing contractors on electrical distribution systems.
• Ability to read and interpret policies, procedures, and technical documentation (SOPs, one-lines, manuals).
• Strong problem-solving skills for both simple and complex issues, with minimal supervision.
• Team-oriented, with professional communication and training abilities for other electricians.
• Capable of organizing preventative maintenance programs and required documentation.
• Willingness to work off-hours, weekends, and rotating on-call duty; able to safely use ladders, scaffolding, and tools.
• Texas Journeyman Electrician License

Job Description :

Responsible for the maintenance, operation, and supervision of personnel performing the maintenance and operation of the campus voltage electrical distribution systems and thermal plant electrical systems in a safe and reliable manner.

The applicant will be required to participate in a monthly on-call rotation outside of regular working hours.
