As a Solution Architect, you will partner with Verizon Connects Enterprise, Mid-Market and Public Sector sales teams to develop value propositions for our platform products and conduct pre-sales presentations to sign Verizon Connects valued prospects. You will be responsible for all technical aspects of proposed solutions, from pre-sale to post-sale as this role will work closely with the sales leadership team and their direct sales team.

For this job, you'll bring extensive pre-sales experience in the Enterprise, Mid-Market and Public Sector space, a strong technical background, and detailed knowledge of web technologies, and enterprise SaaS applications. You must have a strong background in technology, Internet protocols, sales, systems information management, and systems design, including experience in consultative selling or solution-based sales. You also enjoy working with people and technology, and as such you have both the ability to interact with engineering teams as well as excellent relationship-building and communication skills.

Duties :

• Collaborate with direct sales leadership to land strategic customer opportunities.
• You'll support Enterprise, Mid-Market and Public Sector sales teams. You'll need to be an expert in Verizon Connects products and stay current on emerging technology trends.
• Design and implement solution processes to align product and vertical selling strategies to the area sales team.
• Communicate Verizon Connect value proposition to varying technical and non-technical clients, including executive ''C'' level management, VP, and Director levels, and end-users.
• Propose and / or design technical solutions to meet prospect's business, technical, and / or financial goals.
• Partner with Sales to develop requirements documents, presentations, proposals, and ROI models, and coordinate with a team of support specialists, consultants, or project managers to execute sales objectives or to ensure that all pre-sales customer requirements are documented and transitioned.
• Maintain expert knowledge of Verizon Connect products to develop and present unique solutions, and maintain knowledge of emerging trends in technology and online advertising

In this hybrid role, you'll have a defined work location that includes working from home and a minimum of three days per week in the office, which will be set by your manager. Employees are responsible for maintaining compliance with hybrid work policies.

The salary will vary depending on your location and confirmed job-related skills and experience. This is a commission based position with the potential to earn more. For part-time roles, your compensation will be adjusted to reflect your hours.

The annual salary range for the Illinois location(s) listed on this job requisition based on a full-time schedule is : $92,500.00 - $161,000.00.
