Enterprise Application Administrator is responsible for installing, updating, maintaining, and documenting enterprise software applications critical to Salt Lake Community College (SLCC) operations and strategic initiatives. This role involves working with various enterprise applications, including ERP, CRM, and BPM tools, ensuring their optimal performance and security as well as developing and maintaining integrations with other enterprise systems using cloud safe standards and architectures.
The Enterprise Application Administrator will also be responsible for retiring legacy systems and customizations and move processes to the native capabilities of the ERP and other software. SLCC is an in-person public facing institution. The requirements for collaboration and interaction in this role necessitate a significant on campus presence of 80%.
- Manage and troubleshoot application issues and address Help Desk tickets to work toward continuous improvement toward minimal downtime, work disruption and process efficiency.
- Evaluate applications under your purview by performing regular system health checks, apply updates or patches as scheduled, review upcoming releases and product road maps, and oversee security certificate renewals. Maintain technical documentation and manage source code according to departmental standards.
- Install and configure enterprise applications and supporting technologies. Develop processes for integration and reporting using the current procedural or object-oriented language used as a standard in SLCC enterprise applications. Ensure that enterprise applications comply with security policies and regulatory requirements, and that all associated processes are cloud ready.
- Collaborate with varied, cross-functional teams and internal teams to implement and support business solutions and advise Business Systems Analysts on automation and integration impacts. This work requires significant in person collaboration and on campus presence.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
Knowledge of database development using object oriented or procedural programming languages.Experience implementing, configuring, integrating, and maintaining enterprise applications.Knowledge of security features in enterprise software such as single sign on, multi-factor authentication, firewall rules, and security certificate management.Experience implementing enterprise systems on Linux and Windows operating systems configured as servers.Knowledge of systems integration methods including API and flat file integrations.Knowledge of and experience with cloud applications and architecture.Ability to effectively collaborate with varied, cross-functional teams to implement and support business solutions.Ability to solve implementation and system issues independently.Ability to create application documentation.Ability to communicate effectively with a broad range of people with a variety of abilities and backgrounds, to maintain good working relationships across the College.Ability to work with all groups from a variety of academic, socioeconomic, cultural, and ethnic backgrounds, and with community college students, faculty, and staff, including those with disabilities.Associate degree from an accredited college or technical school in addition to four (2) years of full time paid direct experience as a senior enterprise application administrator or similar role. Knowledge and experience administrating enterprise class software in a higher education environment including a preference Ellucian solutions such as Banner and Ethos.
