Are you passionate about soccer and working with children ages 2-8? Soccer Shots is seeking enthusiastic individuals to join our dedicated team as Youth Soccer Coaches in Des Moines, Iowa.

As a Soccer Shots coach, you will have the incredible opportunity to make a positive impact on young athletes' lives while fostering their love for the game. We provide high-quality soccer programs for children aged 2 to 8, promoting character development and teaching fundamental soccer skills in a fun and nurturing environment.

Responsibilities :

  • Lead engaging and age-appropriate soccer sessions for children, following the Soccer Shots curriculum.
  • Create a safe and inclusive environment where children can learn, grow, and develop their skills.
  • Foster a positive and encouraging atmosphere to promote character development and teamwork.
  • Interact with parents and provide regular feedback on children's progress.
  • Maintain equipment and ensure a clean and organized session setup.

Qualifications :

  • Passion for soccer and working with children.
  • Experience coaching or working with young children (preferred but not required).
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Reliable, punctual, and responsible.
  • Ability to engage and motivate children.

    Other details :

  • Must pass a Child Abuse History Clearance and background check
  • Must have your own car, and its reliable
  • Ability to work with little supervision (once you get your schedule, youll be expected to show up, on time, at every location each week)
  • Youll commit to the entire season this is very important given the age of children we work with
  • Pay starts at $18 for each 30 minute session
  • We have coaches coaching anywhere from 3 20+ sessions / week depending on availability
  • Coaches with Saturday morning availability are prioritized
