Job Description

American Traveler is seeking a Radiology Technologist - X-Ray with ARRT-R and BLS certification for flexible 10-hour night or day shifts.

Responsibilities

  • Position located in a hospital setting within the X-Ray department
  • Patient population includes adults requiring diagnostic x-ray procedures
  • Four 10-hour shifts per week available, with both night (20 : 30–7 : 00) and day (7 : 00–17 : 30) shift options
  • Candidates may be required to float within the hospital as needed
  • No specific EMR or charting system experience required
  • Must complete required non-billable facility training modules prior to start
  • Permanent employees cannot return as travelers unless in a different specialty
  • Local candidates are accepted at the travel rate
  • No radius rule applies for eligibility
  • Background policy may apply and should be addressed prior to offer
  • Time off requests of 7 days or less (outside of holidays) are auto-approved; longer requests require facility approval

    • Requirements

  • Current ARRT-R certification and BLS required
  • At least 1 year of X-Ray Technologist experience required
  • Valid PA license or Compact License required at time of consideration; license required if applicable
  • COVID-19 vaccination and booster status required
  • Must be able to provide 2 supervisor professional references from within the past 2 years
