Overview

Last Minute Marine is a South Florida–based marine electrical service company specializing in diagnostics, installations, and refits on luxury vessels from 30 ft to 100 ft. We are seeking a Marine Electrical & Systems Technician with strong troubleshooting skills, hands-on experience, and a commitment to ABYC standards. The ideal candidate will be detail-oriented, dependable, and confident working independently or as part of a team on yachts, center consoles, and sport cruisers.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair AC / DC electrical systems, including inverters, chargers, battery banks, and distribution panels.
• Install and configure Garmin, Fusion, Yamaha, NMEA 2000, and Seastar systems.
• Perform preventive maintenance and safety inspections following ABYC E-11, A-31, and A-32 standards.
• Troubleshoot and document issues with marine electronics, lighting, pumps, and automation systems.
• Conduct voltage drop, continuity, and load testing using multimeters and diagnostic tools.
• Maintain detailed service reports, wiring notes, and photos for each job.
• Collaborate with dealers and marinas (e.g., Sundance Marine, Regal Marina, Middle Point) to meet project deadlines.
• Ensure a clean, safe work environment aboard every vessel.
