NO CLINICAL INVOLVEMENT. - Type of Facility : Long Term Care. - of Beds / Residents : 26 bed. - EMR : Matrix. - Ratios : Nurses 1 : 10 on day 1 : 19 nights, - Common diagnosis / Types of patients : Heart disease, diabetes, dementia. - Job Duties : Nurse act as charge and pass meds and perform wound care. - Experience or 'Must have' skills : LTC experience. - Are there IVs or titratable drips? : NO. - Area there Tele monitors? If so do you have monitor techs on this unit? Do RN's read strips? : NONE. - Are RNs required to attend team conferences for acute inpatient rehab? : NO. - DON / Charge Nurse / House Supervisor : DON, no supervisors. - Physician availability after hours : By phone on-call. - Interdisciplinary Team : no rehab beds only LTC. - PT / OT / SLP, Pulmonary or Cardiac Rehab, Case Managers, Social Workers, Dieticians? : PT as needed, Social worker designee. - Is RT on-site 24 / 7? : NONE. - Oxygen Therapy / Equipment (ie Cpap, Bipap, High Flow) : Concentrators and portable concentrators. - Pharmacy on-site? Medication dispensing system? : Off site. - Shifts & Scheduling : 12hr shifts 7-7, No blocked schedule & no self-scheduling. - Weekend Requirements : EOW. - Holiday Requirements : Every other major holiday. - Call or Standby Requirement : NONE. - Floating Requirements : NONE. - Scrub Color / Dress Code : NONE , must be clean and presentable. - How many shifts of unit / department specific orientation? : 2-3. Radius Rule : 50 miles AND candidates may not be full time, part time, or PRN with any facility associated with CommonSpirit, including CHI and / or Dignity. RTO needed upfront (7 or less days per 13 week contract). Additional RTO will not be approved, including after submissions.
