Senior Acquisition Sme / Team Lead

Koniag Management Solutions, a Koniag Government Services company, is seeking a Senior Acquisition SME / Team Lead to support KMS and our government customer at Fort Lee, VA. This position requires the candidate to be able to obtain a Public Trust. Essential Functions, Responsibilities & Duties may include, but are not limited to :

• Assist technical SMEs and the Enterprise Program Management Office (EPMO) in developing and drafting acquisition packages, including conducting market research and associated reports, developing PWS / SOO / SOW, evaluation criteria, etc.
• Provide expert advice on utilizing FAR based contracts for business system modernization efforts
• Utilize business acumen and communication skills to maintain stakeholder relationships, communicate with program staff, and perform risk management related to acquisition actions.
• Assist the agency in the development of an acquisition strategy as well as supporting the development of all requisite documentation
• Assist the government staff with contract consolidations
• Within broad objectives, support the development and implementation of a wide range of Federal acquisition activities
• Support the acquisition process, applying expertise on the body of statutory and regulatory guidance impacting acquisition
• Conduct cost / price analysis, fee / profit fee analysis, and technical and contractual negotiations leading to an award of contracts
• Analyze and advise on the performance of acquisition activities against various procurement indicators and goals
• Provide group facilitation, interviewing, training, and additional forms of knowledge collection and transfer
• Provide team oversight to include performance / output support, administrative duties, and daily work assignments.
