About The Position

Job Title : Registered Nurse

Must-Have :

2 years of RN experience required

Description : Unit Information :

Number of Beds : 4 Endoscopy Procedure Rooms.

Number of Staff : Approximately 25.

Type of Staff : Day shift primarily consists of RNs, with scrub tech and scope room techs.

Night shift is on call only.

Patient Ratios : Approximately 20-30 patients go through the department each weekday.

Type of Equipment : Olympus scopes, Provation procedural documentation, EMR Meditech.

Responsibilities :

All RNs are trained to admit patients, circulate and scrub in procedural cases, recover and discharge patients.

Typical Procedures Performed : EGD, colonoscopy, ERCP, bronchoscopy.

Fast-paced and multi-tasker.

Quick learner.

Comfortable in frequently changing situations.

Team-oriented.

Floating Areas : Rare.

Dress Code : Hospital-issued scrubs; surgical attire policy.

No visible piercings.

Weekends and On-Call : Weekday and weekend call required for all staff.
