HVAC Systems Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform system commissioning using industry-standard configuration and commissioning tools.
• Troubleshoot and resolve basic mechanical, electrical, and control system issues in HVAC equipment.
• Respond to routine warranty calls and service requests.
• Deliver high-quality customer service focused on identifying and resolving building inefficiencies.
• Act as a trusted advisor by offering timely solutions and outcomes during service interactions.
• Load software onto system-level controllers.
• Execute basic commissioning and diagnostics from system-level controllers to field devices (e.g., sensors, actuators), and complete associated documentation.
• Maintain open communication with internal teams and external partners regarding job progress and any emerging issues.
• Use basic electronic test equipment to calibrate systems.
• Complete administrative duties such as time sheets, expense reports, and on-site records.
• Document system changes and provide input for final as-built documentation.
• Communicate with site contacts upon arrival and prior to departure.
• Follow all safety procedures and participate in required safety training, with a strong commitment to personal and team safety.
• Provide system performance recommendations, including identifying and quoting upsell opportunities.
