Description :

Vascular Access Nurse needed for immediate start.

Vascular Access Nurses work variable shifts, with hours from 07 : 00 to 19 : 30, 36 hours per week.

The Vascular Access Nurse performs IV starts, phlebotomies, and central line lab draws.

Experience with ultrasound-guided IV starts is preferred.

Duties include central line dressing changes and accessing and de-accessing implanted ports.

The role involves treating infiltrations and extravasation.

Vascular Access Nurses administer lidocaine, heparin, alteplase, and hyaluronidase.

This position is not involved in infusions.

Cares for patients ranging from newborns to elderly.
