Dock / Fulfillment Associate

Our Dock team is made up of rock stars and they ensure products are ready for drivers which assists in achieving the high customer satisfaction we strive for.

As a Dock / Fulfillment Associate, you are an integral part of our operation and a crucial component of our home and wholesale delivery process.

South Mountain Creamery is a dairy farm family : we bottle our own milk and make our own butter, yogurt, and ice cream. We brought the milkman back in 2001 and have been making home deliveries to the DMV area for 24 years and counting! Over the years, we have grown to be the largest and most efficient home delivery business in the area. We see the excellence in the ordinary and everything we do is done with integrity and intention.

Duties include but are not limited to :

• Safely operating a forklift
• Read orders, pull milk, and stage product
• Collaborate with teams to ensure received items are correct and stored properly
• Accurately record information
• Move pallets and other items with a forklift and / or pallet jack
• Unload products from tractor-trailers
• Maintain cleanliness of work (dock) area
• Other duties as assigned

The right person :

Work is performed in a warehouse and outdoor setting; you must be able to work in a fast-paced environment while working safely and efficiently. This position requires the incumbent to lift roughly 50lbs from ground level to waist high using proper lifting techniques.

The schedule for this position is anticipated to be Monday - Friday 7am- 3pm Part-Time
