job_description.job_card.job_descriptionNow interviewing for upcoming start dates. 13-week direct contract with a high potential to extend. 40 hours per week. 8 and 10-hour shifts available. Establishes positive, trusting rapport with residents, parents, and referral sources. Diagnoses and treats mental health disorders. Provides weekly individual counseling and treatment. Evaluates, measures, and records resident progress. Reviews daily behavioral progress notes and weekly academic progress notes. Follows all safety protocols and maintains client confidentiality. Additional tasks & responsibilities as assigned, depending on caseload. Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a mental health-related field such as social work, clinical or educational psychology, psychiatry, or other related field, preferred. 2+ years of experience in direct service to long-term care patients, or comparable experience, as an MSW; or at least 5 years of comparable experience as a BSW. Experience in a supervisor role preferred. Current (AHA) BLS.
