Role

Title : Hyperion HFM Consultant – Submit all Techno Functional / Functional / Technical

Responsibilities

• 2-3 years of experience in HFM 11.1.1.3 / 11.1.2.1 / 2 / 3 and a total of 7-15 years of experience in Hyperion suite.
• Develop and maintain HFM applications, including defining metadata (accounts, entities, scenarios, custom dimensions, currency, etc.), consolidation methods, member lists, journals, data forms, intercompany transactions, and rules development (expressions, functions, variables, sub procedures, conditional / consolidation / elimination rules, string comparisons, subcubes, etc.).
• Drive custom dimension requirements, map old COA to new COA, and validate converted data with the FDM team.
• Set up key HFM functionalities during design and build, support work-outs and UAT.
• Understand business requirements for setting up financial statements (e.g., Cash Flow, Roll Forwards, Consolidation Tracker / CTA) in HFM and identify gaps in requirements fitment.
• Perform reconciliations between HFM and source systems for financial statements (e.g., Trial Balance).
• Provide reporting using Hyperion Financial Reporting and Smart View; handle user data queries and rationalize HFM data.
• Leverage best practices from prior implementations and contribute to ongoing support and continuous improvement.
