We are seeking to add an experienced income tax professional to our federal and state tax operations team. This role provides support for federal and state income tax compliance, state apportionment and tax planning. The ideal candidate will have 4+ years of income tax experience with an interest in tax return calculation and tax reporting systems.

Professional Experience :

  • 4+ years of corporate income tax compliance experience
  • Understanding of federal and state income tax for complex corporate and partnership compliance
  • Significant Excel experience; experience with Alteryx, Power BI or similar tools a plus

Job Responsibilities :

  • Work with internal department to gather data and improve tax efficiency
  • Prepare and review complex federal and state corporate income and partnership tax returns
  • Prepare and review consolidated and separate company tax returns and corresponding tax work papers and files
  • Prepare and review Federal and State income modifications and state apportionment
  • Research tax issues to ensure compliance and identify potential tax savings
  • Work with minimal supervision, meet deadlines and produce accurate, quality work product
  • Analyze large and complex datasets and present findings in a clear, understandable manner
  • Strong organizational and interpersonal skills
  • Be able to multitask and prioritize work effectively; comfortable in a fast-past work environment that demands regular reprioritization
  • Perform other job-related duties as assigned
