Job Summary :
Under the direction / supervision of the Program Director of Inpatient Therapy Services, the Clinical Therapist (LIC) provides group, individual, and family therapy services, participates in daily treatment team meetings, and functions as a member of the interdisciplinary treatment team. The Clinical Therapist (LIC) participates in formulation of treatment, after care recommendations, and safety planning. The Clinical Therapist (LIC) plans, organizes, and implements services to patients and families utilizing a growth and development knowledge base in the care of child (pediatric), adolescent, adult, and geriatric patients and provides discharge planning services, emotional care, and advocacy, while maintaining effective working relationships with community resources and services. The Clinical Therapist (LIC) should possess the ability to assess data, reflective of the patient's status, and interpret the appropriate information to identify and provide the needed care. This employee will access and use an electronic medical record for patient documentation and maintain confidentiality. This employee also will demonstrate knowledge and skills to appropriately communicate and interact with medical nursing staff and with patients, their families, and visitors of all age groups while being sensitive to their cultural and religious beliefs. This employee will be responsible for all other assigned duties and tasks on an as-needed basis.

Work Experience :
At least one year experience in the mental health field preferred
Certification / Licensure-DUE UPON HIRE
