Machinist (SC)

One of the Lowcountry's most beloved family-owned job shops in Summerville, South Carolina, is looking for a talented machinist to join them, via direct hire. This position is M-F with overtime potential, PTO, and BCBS, 100% employee covered healthcare. Starting pay is based on experience.

They are looking for an experienced machinist who can :

• Read and interpret blueprints.
• Use gauges and measuring instruments to meet tolerance requirements.
• Utilize Precision Tools machinery and equipment such as a lathe, a milling machine, hydraulic press, saws, and broacher.
• Fabricates and shapes Parts such as tools and machine parts out of the metal Plastics and composites.
• Uses a computer to navigate Erp system software.
• Must be able to program the equipment by G-Code or Mastercam and abide by all ISO requirements and safety procedures.
