ICU Registered Nurse Job Details Location : Lake Havasu City, AZ 86403 (Arizona nursing jobs) Healthcare Setting : ICU / CVICU, Level III Trauma Center Assignment Length : 13 weeks (Start : 12 / 15 / 2025 – End : 3 / 16 / 2026) Shift : 12-hour days (7 : 00 AM – 7 : 00 PM) Hours per Week : 36 (Weekly guaranteed) Estimated Weekly Pay : $2020-$2070 Patient Population : Adult, Geriatric Unit Size : 16 beds, 1 : 2 patient ratio Call Requirements : Yes Electronic Health Record : Medhost ICU RN Qualifications Active Registered Nurse (RN) license (Arizona or compact state) BLS, ACLS, and NIH Stroke certifications required Minimum 2 years of recent ICU nursing experience Travel nursing experience preferred Ability to float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as needed Strong clinical skills in managing STEMI, NSTEMI, COPD exacerbation, Sepsis, CABG, Valve repair / replacement, Acute Respiratory Failure, A. Fib RVR, ETOH Withdrawal, Head Injury, Overdose, Stroke, Trauma, CRRT, TCAR & TVAR ICU Nurse Responsibilities Provide high-quality, compassionate care to critically ill adult and geriatric patients Monitor, assess, and respond to changes in patient condition in the ICU / CVICU Administer medications and manage advanced equipment (Baxter pumps) Collaborate with interdisciplinary healthcare teams to develop and implement patient care plans Float to Intermediate Care Unit and ED holding as required Maintain accurate documentation in Medhost EHR Adhere to hospital policies, including attendance and dress code (scrubs required) Experience the best of Arizona healthcare while advancing your critical care nursing career.
