Radiologic Technologist

The Radiologic Technologist performs quality diagnostic radiological exams on customers as ordered by Providers. Customers may be infants, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics. The Technologist may also perform other radiological procedures within scope of licensure, for example, EKG's and Dexa bone scans.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities :

• Performs accurate imaging exams as ordered by Physician / Provider and presents them for review.
• Administers EKG's and presents results to Physician / Provider for review.
• Applies critical thinking skills appropriately, recognizes emergent situations and responds accordingly.
• Responsible for maintaining daily records and for keeping the department neat and orderly.
• Maintains accurate customer medical records, ensuring confidentiality of all medical records.
• Utilizes imaging and EMR computer systems correctly.
• Interacts with Providers, co-workers, customers, and families in a professional manner.
• Accepts other duties as assigned to promote the accomplishment of organizational goals.
