Job Summary :
The Director of Student Systems and Data Analytics serves in a key role providing essential support, analysis, and oversight of business processes, reporting, and data validation to stakeholders within the Division of Student Affairs. This employee serves as the technical liaison to the divisional departments for reporting and analytical needs.
Primary Duties and Responsibilities :
- Lead the planning, implementation, and ongoing management of student-facing systems and platforms, including Degree Planner, Canvas, SOAR / PeopleSoft, and Housing and Residence Life applications.
- Serve as the project manager and divisional liaison for new system integrations, annual updates, and user training initiatives, ensuring functionality aligns with institutional goals for recruitment, retention, and student success.
- Develop and execute communication strategies, support resources, and system documentation to enhance student engagement and compliance with key deadlines.
- Analyze, map, and improve business processes across the division to increase efficiency, reduce redundancy, and strengthen data integrity.
- Lead data governance, reporting, and quality assurance processes; design and validate reports and dashboards that inform divisional planning and outcomes assessment.
- Provide leadership and direction to assigned staff, fostering a culture of continuous improvement and professional development.
- Collaborate with IT, Enrollment Management, and other campus units to identify system enhancements and integration opportunities.
- Stay current on emerging technologies, higher education best practices, and CRM / data integration tools that support student lifecycle management.
- Perform additional duties as assigned to support divisional and institutional priorities.
Minimum Qualifications :
Master's degree from an accredited college or university in a business, sales, student affairs or a technology related field and ten (10) years of experience in sales, technology and systems workflow.
