Position Title : Visualization Specialist

Duration : Long term contract

Location : Irvine, California. USA

Our Client is currently looking for a Visualization Specialist to join the team in Irvine, CA

Job Description :

  • Create high quality photo-realistic renderings and animations
  • Strong ability to visually communicate design proposals in form of Storytelling and contextual design
  • Development of 3D assets and refinement of existing assets from Design teams for rendering and VR scenes
  • Demonstrate the ability to lead design projects from start to finish, under time management and resource constraints.
  • Research and analyse trends in Design Visualization process and work with the CAD Modelling team to streamline workflows
  • Work closely with Management, Engineering, Marketing and Design team to discuss design criteria.
  • Incorporate the criteria to meet engineering and manufacturing requirements, for example kinematic models for accurate functional visualization and storytelling
  • Produce presentation ready materials to support design reviews
  • Project Management : Manage multiple projects simultaneously, adhering to timelines and constantly pushing for improving delivery standards
  • Drive discussions around technical solutions, with the goal to improve capabilities and overcome limitations

The Expectations of a candidate :

  • Ability to work in a collaborative team atmosphere with an open, positive attitude
  • Possess knowledge in the elements and principles of design, composition, 3D modelling, real-world lighting, and visual storytelling
  • Lead visual design work from ideation to mock-ups and implementation
  • Develop and deliver renderings, animations, and VR experiences that communicate the Clients' brand design coherently with digital and print mediums.
  • Create compelling visualizations and animations from Nurbs, SubD and polygonal data for weekly / monthly design reviews with Design teams.
  • Meet design specifications from Engineering and deadlines established by Design Managers
  • Organize and prepare files for Design reviews and presentation materials
  • Maintain clean and safe work environment
  • Up to 20% of domestic and / or international travel

    • Requirements :

  • Emphasis on the creative side, with a strong visual eye
  • Storytelling and animation skills
  • 3D Visual Artists are required to create photo real renderings of projects including animations, creative lighting, Atmospherics, texturing, unwrapping, and 3D modelling of scenery assets.
  • Prepare and translation 3d data to and from applications such as : Alias, Catia, VRED, Blender, Unreal
  • Create repeatable creative animations and rigging, realistic interaction with the environment, and suspension movement in Unreal Engine.
  • Work closely with cross-disciplinary teams to understand their needs and anticipate and prepare for visualization needs
  • Design Degree preferred but High School Diploma or Technical or Vocational training in creating / editing animations / videos, VRED, and Unreal Engine may be considered
  • Proficient with Software tools : Unreal Engine, Blender, Premier Pro / After Effects, and Photoshop.
