???? Position SummaryWe are seeking a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our D.C. clinical team. The ideal candidate will provide therapeutic services to adults and / or adolescents within our outpatient or residential programs. This role involves direct clinical care, case coordination, and participation in multidisciplinary team meetings to ensure client-centered, holistic treatment.

Key ResponsibilitiesProvide individual, group, and family therapy using evidence-based treatment modalities (CBT, DBT, MI, trauma-informed care).Conduct clinical assessments, treatment planning, and progress evaluations.Maintain accurate documentation in accordance with HIPAA and organizational standards.Collaborate with psychiatrists, case managers, nurses, and peer support staff to coordinate care.Provide crisis intervention and safety planning when necessary.Participate in team meetings, supervision, and continuing education to maintain best clinical practices.Support program development and contribute to quality improvement initiatives.???? QualificationsMaster’s degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.Active D.C. LICSW license (required).Minimum 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience, preferably in behavioral health, substance use, or trauma care.Strong understanding of DSM-5 diagnosis, treatment planning, and documentation standards.Excellent communication, empathy, and case management skills.Familiarity with electronic health records (EHR / EMR) systems such as Welligent, Credible, or similar.Bilingual (English / Spanish) preferred but not required.???? Preferred ExperienceExperience working with co-occurring disorders (mental health and substance use).Prior work in community-based, residential, or outpatient programs.Training or certification in trauma-informed care, EMDR, or motivational interviewing.Understanding of D.C. Medicaid and insurance documentation requirements.????
