Position Summary :
We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Tax Manager to join our team, specializing in managing relationships, and review and oversight of complex tax returns for high-net-worth individuals, families, and closely held businesses. This role requires deep technical expertise, strong leadership, and a client-focused mindset to ensure the highest level of service and compliance.

Key Responsibilities :
- Review complex individual, estate, trust, and partnership tax returns for high-net-worth clients.
- Provide strategic tax planning and consulting services tailored to the unique needs of affluent clients.
- Collaborate with partners and senior staff to identify tax-saving opportunities and manage risk.
- Supervise, mentor, and develop tax staff and senior associates, ensuring quality and timely deliverables.
- Maintain up-to-date knowledge of federal, state, and local tax laws and regulations.
- Communicate directly with clients to clarify issues, gather information, and provide guidance.
- Assist in managing client relationships and contribute to business development efforts.
- Coordinate with financial advisors, attorneys, and other professionals on integrated wealth planning strategies.
- Foster strong relationships with clients and external professionals to enhance firm visibility and growth.
- Demonstrate strong interpersonal skills in working with both clients and internal team members.
Qualifications :
CPA license required.Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or related field; Master’s in Taxation preferred.Minimum of 6 years of public accounting experience with a focus on high-net-worth individuals.Strong technical knowledge of individual, fiduciary, estate, gift, and pass-through entity taxation.Excellent communication, leadership, and organizational skills.Proven ability to mentor and develop junior staff effectively.Proficiency in tax software (e.g., CCH Axcess, CCH ProSystems, or similar) and Microsoft Office Suite.Preferred Attributes :
Experience with estate and gift tax planning.Experience working with multi-generational families on tax planning.Familiarity with multi-state taxation and international tax issues.Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.Strong interpersonal skills and a collaborative mindset.Demonstrated success in building and maintaining client relationships that support business development.Compensation & Benefits :
