You’ll conduct regular inspections and routine maintenance across our self-storage complexes, multi-family, and commercial properties. Compensation : $25-$30 hourly
Responsibilities :
- Perform routine and preventative maintenance tasks, including minor plumbing, electrical, appliances, and grounds maintenance.
- Respond to and resolve maintenance requests from tenants in a timely and professional manner.
- Conduct property inspections and identify any necessary repairs or maintenance.
- Prepare vacant units for new tenants, including light repairs, painting, and cleaning.
- Preserve and respect resident confidentiality and privacy.
- Interact positively with residents and the community.
- Work with the property management to ensure compliance with company, state, and federal policies.
- Maintain accurate records of all maintenance activities and work orders.
- Manage inventory of maintenance supplies and equipment.
- Take additional maintenance requests as assigned.
Qualifications :
2+ years of maintenance experienceMust be able to demonstrate advanced understanding of maintenance equipment, techniques and proceduresExcellent work ethic, communication skills, time management skills, and attention to detailKnowledge of heating and air conditioning units, plumbing systems, and electrical systemsHas high school diploma, GED, or equivalentProven experience in general handyman services or a related field.Strong knowledge of basic plumbing, electrical, and carpentry.Ability to troubleshoot and solve problems efficiently.Exceptional organizational and time-management abilities, with a keen attention to detail.Excellent communication and customer service skills.Must be reliable, organized, and able to work independently and as part of a team.Candidates must be authorized to work in the US.Residing in Salt Lake County is highly preferred for this role.A clean criminal background is required.Valid driver's license and reliable transportation are required.About Company
