Role : Estimator

Location : Charlotte, NC

Salary : $100K–$110K + Benefits

We are a leading concrete contractor specializing in light commercial projects throughout Charlotte, NC. Known for quality, reliability, and efficiency, we are committed to delivering projects that exceed client expectations. We're seeking a detail-oriented Estimator to join our team and play a key role in securing new business.

As an Estimator, you will be responsible for preparing accurate and competitive cost estimates for light commercial concrete projects. You'll work closely with project managers, suppliers, and clients to ensure bids are comprehensive and align with company goals.

Responsibilities :

  • Review project plans, specifications, and client requirements
  • Prepare detailed and accurate cost estimates, including labor, materials, and equipment
  • Coordinate with subcontractors and suppliers for pricing and availability
  • Analyze project risks and suggest cost-saving opportunities
  • Assist in developing proposals and bid documents
  • Maintain a database of historical costs and estimating metrics

Experience Required :

  • Proven experience estimating commercial construction projects (concrete experience preferred)
  • Strong analytical and mathematical skills
  • Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities
  • Proficiency with estimating software and project management tools
  • Strong communication and negotiation skills
