Responsibilities Work in an acute care hospital radiology department performing MRI procedures Patient population includes both adult and pediatric patients Operate MRI scanners, PACS, and related imaging equipment Day shift schedule, Monday through Friday, 8 : 00 AM to 4 : 30 PM Responsible for administering oral and IV contrast per established protocols Document and transmit images using PACS, Epic EMR, and IMPAX systems Responsibilities include patient identification, assessing pregnancy status, and ensuring patient safety throughout the procedure Interpret protocols, select appropriate scanning parameters, and troubleshoot MRI equipment issues Administer and monitor contrast injections following all safety guidelines Precept new employees and students as needed Maintain clean and orderly work environment Must report to the lab for drug screening within 24 hours of commitment Background check and drug screening are required prior to start Requirements Completion of an accredited program in Radiologic Science Registered or registry eligible with the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists (ARRT) Must achieve advanced MRI certification within one year of employment Maintain ARRT registration and continuing education annually Current BLS for Healthcare Providers required License required if applicable Benefits High Pay and Bonuses Medical, Dental and Vision Insurance with Day 1 Options 401(k) Plan Weekly Payroll Deposit Free Online CEUs Generous Housing Allowance Travel and Licensure Reimbursements Non-taxed Per Diem and Subsidy Traveler Rewards and Discounts American Traveler Job ID P-613302.
