WHO WE ARE LOOKING FOR :

Franciscan Physician Network is seeking a full-time Obstetrics and Gynecology Nurse Practitioner to join our group at FPN Franciscan Medical Pavilion - Michigan City located in Michigan City, Indiana, with outreach at FPN LaPorte Health Center in LaPorte, Indiana and FPN Chesterton Health & Emergency Center in Chesterton, Indiana. Interested candidate will be joining a talented and knowledgeable group. This established group enjoys a supportive work environment which helps to enable a rewarding work-life balance.

WHAT WE NEED :

Ideal candidate will have 2 to 3 years of past or present Womens Health experience, with a strong focus on clinical excellence and patient satisfaction. Candidate will display exceptional interpersonal skills and desire to develop strong ties with the community and existing medical staff. Provider will need to work collaboratively with physician to coordinate and deliver the highest quality of patient care.

WHAT YOU CAN EXPECT :

For all health care services at Franciscan Physician Network, we follow the Ethical and Religious Directives , while caring for our patient population.

Clinic hours : Monday - Friday, 8 a.m. to 4 : 30 p.m.

Flexible full-time schedule with one evening shift per week; no weekends or holidays

Average outpatient volume : 16 - 20 patients per day

Designated MA support

Rounding at the hospital as needed

No call responsibilities

No delivery responsibilities

Common Diagnoses and Procedures

Antepartum and Postpartum care

Pap smears

Colposcopy

Breast exams

Vaginosis

On-site Equipment

Ultrasound

Lab onsite

Registered Nurse (RN) - Required

Master's Degree - Required

Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Nationally Recognized Certification - Required
