Responsibilities include :
- Work safely under functional safety guidelines such as PPE and equipment interaction.
- Adhere to quality processes including in-process inspection to ensure compliance with quality specifications.
- Interpret work orders correctly.
- Lift up to 45 lbs.
- Work overtime as needed.
- Operate basic lathes, grinders, and polishing equipment.
- Machine intermediate tooling components with assistance.
- Begin to perform basic equipment setups.
- Communicate with other departments as needed (thread-roll, heading, etc.).
- Work in a team environment, follow instructions, and assist others as needed.
- Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Required Skills :
Ability to read and write English.Perform basic shop math, fractions, decimals.Use basic hand tools, wrenches, etc.Intermediate print reading skills.Familiarity with relevant tools & equipment.Use inspection tools such as micrometers, calipers, comparators.Navigate intranet to locate process documents; basic computer skills.Read and interpret work instructions, prints, and dimensions.Experience & Education :
