Description :

The Cath Lab is on the cutting edge with new procedures and new technology.

The role of the RN is direct patient care, including conscious sedation and monitoring.

Documentation is completed using a new Hemodynamic system from Change Health Care.

Working business hours are Monday to Friday from 0700 to 1730.

A day off during the week will rotate each week.

There is an expectation of 8 to 10 days per month of On Call.

The normal rotation includes one night a week (1730 to 0700).

This also includes being on call every three weeks with availability from Friday 1730 to 0700 and Saturday and Sunday 0700 to 0700.

The call team usually consists of 2 RNs and 1 Radiologist Technologist.

The Cath Lab will provide scrubs and a lead apron for cases.

You must have housing within 30 minutes for STEMI (heart attack) call.

The team consists of close-knit members who take care of each other.

We have a mix of Radiology Technologists and RNs.
