As a Security Officer - Industrial Access Control in Oakdale, PA, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Manufacturing & Industrial, and more. As a Security Officer in an access control role at a manufacturing and industrial location, you will monitor entry points, conduct routine patrols, and help to deter security-related incidents. Pay Rate : $17.50 / Hour

What You'll Do :

  • Use our proprietary scheduling platform to claim open shifts at client sites
  • Support operations across a range of environments including commercial real estate, healthcare, and education
  • Receive site-specific training and guidance from experienced teams
  • Deliver consistent, professional security presence and customer service
  • Be ready to fill in at short notice when urgent needs arise

Responsibilities :

  • Assist with access control procedures at the location, monitoring entry and exit points to help to deter unauthorized access.
  • Provide customer service by following security-related procedures and site-specific policies.
  • Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, following established protocols.
  • Conduct regular and random patrols around the facility and its perimeter to observe for irregularities or suspicious activity.
  • Report security-related incidents, hazards, and unusual occurrences to the appropriate personnel.
  • Support emergency response activities as directed, maintaining clear communication with Allied Universal and client representatives.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of daily activities and incidents as required by site protocols.

  • Interest in transitioning into full-time roles when available

    • Minimum Requirements :

  • Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
  • Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
  • Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
  • As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
  • Licensing requirements are subject to state and / or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
  • A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
