The RN Clinical Supervisor is responsible for providing leadership, compassion, direction, and support to the nursing staff in a clinical setting. The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of nursing theory and practice, as well as excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Responsibilities of the RN Clinical Supervisor include :
- Developing and implementing nursing policies and procedures
- Providing direct supervision to nursing staff
- Evaluating the performance of nursing staff
- Resolving conflicts between nursing staff and patients or families
- Coordinating nursing care with other healthcare professionals
